SwagHer Magazine has spent over a decade creating a space where Black women in business can be seen, celebrated, and supported. Founded in 2010 by Francheska “Fancy” Felder, the publication exists with a clear mission: to offer a platform that celebrates, educates, and connects Black women entrepreneurs, creatives, and professionals.
SwagHer Magazine blends curated content, PR services, media partnerships, and community engagement to ensure its audience not only feels represented, but empowered.

What sets SwagHer Magazine apart is its intentional approach to storytelling and community building. Each feature highlights authentic narratives of Black women in business while fostering connection and visibility across platforms. The publication emphasizes meaningful engagement, showing that media can be more than just content, it can be a space where ideas, experience, and opportunity intersect.
SwagHer Magazine centers the voices of women who are shaping industries, building empires, and leading with creativity and purpose.

Among the magazine’s many accomplishments, one of the highlights is Theories & Thoughts Podcast, produced over a two-year period by Francheska Felder and Arnya T.M. Davis.
The podcast was designed with intention and purpose, creating a space for education, thoughtful dialogue, and connection with a wide range of inspiring individuals. It reflects the magazine’s dedication to fostering knowledge and community while providing a platform for conversation that matters.
As part of FEMI Magazine’s The Magazines That Move Us series, SwagHer Magazine represents the impact of independent Black owned media that centers culture, business, and connection. The publication reminds us that visibility and storytelling are powerful tools for building opportunity, shaping perception, and uplifting the community.
