Share the origin story of Vision Made Media with us. Where did it come to originate?

Vision Made Media began with Vision Made Magazine, which we intend to be a source of empowerment. Then, we launched the Media Company to expand the reach and impact, which is where EnVision Me Talk Show originated: a weekly show with guests, tips, tricks, and empowerment stories.

You are passionate about helping women in midlife discover their “What’s Next.” How do you define a “What’s Next?”

“What’s Next” is best described as living life on your own terms.

You mention feeling uncertain about life after 40 and struggling with defining your purpose in this next stage. What inspired you to take action and create Vision Made Media to empower women in similar situations?

Going to work, day in and day out, sitting in a cubicle and realizing I’m on a wheel—just like you see in the movie Ground Hog Day.  At some point, you must jump off the wheel and get control of your life.

What do you believe contributes to women losing their identity in midlife? How does your company help women avoid that erosion of purpose?

Being caught up in social norm and complacency is what causes women to have an erosion of purpose. By empowering them to take control of their life, no matter what phase they are in, as well as letting them know there is a tribe that has their back, women can regain control of their identity.

Vision Made Media serves as a platform for women to share their authentic stories and struggles. How do you curate content to support the overall journey, wellness, and mission of your readers?

I’m always talking to women and asking: What do you need to support you in your life, your goals, your mission, and finding your purpose?

How has pursuing your “What’s Next” changed your life? How does it feel to see other women pursue their passion and “What’s Next?”

Truthfully, I still feel surprised every time someone is inspired by me and the empowerment media I’ve created! Looking at myself on a talk show or in an article and realizing that is me? I still get choked up!

I want women to know that they can always count on me as they pursue their biggest dreams, goals, and visions.

Share success stories or anecdotes from women who have been inspired or empowered by Vision Made Media.

The first person I met with was Tecca Thompson. During our first session, we talked about decluttering and her dream to become her own boss. Today she still working on decluttering and retiring from corporate to venture into the entrepreneurship world,

Looking ahead, what are your future plans to empower women to boldly embrace the next act of their life? What will you be embracing in this next act of your life?

To continue growing Vision Made Media, although one of my big visions is to create a retreat for women to embrace their “What’s Next” and unashamedly seek their purpose and passion!
