FEMI MAGAZINE: Natashia Bobbitt: Congratulations on being an award-winning film producer and founder of COLO Studios. What inspired you to establish your own production company, and what are your goals for COLO Studios?
Thank you. I established COLO Studios because I want to create a home for the stories that I desire to bring to people’s screens and I want an opportunity to oversee my own process and work at my own pace from building the team, to facilitating the creative process, so that I can ensure there remains authenticity in African stories coming into the world. Our vision at COLO Studios is the center the African Experience on the world stage. Every day, we intend to chip away at this grand vision with the kind of stories we tell.
