Marlounsly released a single titled, “Senseless,” on Friday, May 7th!
“Senseless” is a retro-funk song. The song gives listeners nostalgia, but has a modern-day vibe to it. The single was produced by N Soul. Like many of her songs, it’s freestyled. “After a drive home from the studio, it was late night, my friends and I were playing around with beats.” Marlounsly continues, “This beat came on and the energy that came out was so pure that I had to record it!” “Senseless” is fun, charismatic, and sexy.
The single is yet another example of how Marlounsly is paving her way to becoming a Pop/R&B sensation.
Marlounsly is the artist to watch in 2021. She is a singer-songwriter from South Florida who has garnered a fanbase with her consistency and delivery. After several snippets and covers on Instagram, in 2018, Marlounsly caught her first big break when she won a contest. Her entire city voted for her to perform in a music festival alongside Ella Mai, H.E.R. and Summer Walker. In 2019, Marlounsly released her breakthrough single, “Dreamboat.” The song exploded on social media and fans were hooked. Marlounsly was thus featured in her city’s newspaper, The Sun-Sentinel. In 2020, she was interviewed and performed live on FOX SOUL, hosted by Tammi Mac. That same year, Marlounsly made a stunning appearance, performing on MTV’s Instagram Live after they discovered her music video for her song, “Honey.” Marlounsly closed out 2020 with her release of an iconic cover of Cardi B’s “WAP,” and once again, she showed out. So far, in 2021, Marlounsly has released one single and has many more releases in store.
