Shaq Says the Historic Krispy Kreme He Owns ‘Will Be Back Stronger Than Ever’ After A Devastating Fire

A historic Krispy Kreme store owned by Shaquille O’Neal was inadvertently baked and burned Krispy in Georgia on Wednesday. The Basketball legend is making a tremendous promise on a quick recovery for the Atlanta store that has been a monument for more than 60 years. The loving donut legend purchased the store in 2016.

Shaq, a global spokesperson for the donut concession when he purchased the iconic neighborhood – declined to be barred.

This historic shop was first unsealed in 1964 and was one of Krispy Kreme’s first locations outside it’s primary services in several different states like Winston- Salem, North Carolina, and Nashville, Tennessee. It was also very, very prominent due to the infamous “Hot Now signage.

Even more historical, the location was also involved in the service subsequently burial of the Civil Rights Leader Martin Luther King Jr in April 68, Krispy Kreme lad fed supporters and grievers by donating at least 150 dozen donuts to Atlanta churches.
