Virtual Expo to Boost Economy, Spirits for Hardest Hit Group

ATLANTA, GA -The community is invited to enjoy an afternoon of shopping, fun, enlightenment in support of America’s black woman-owned businesses on Saturday, November 21, 2020, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Eastern.

The Mahogany Women’s Business Expo is a virtual event that promises to uplift and inspire while helping minority businesses thrive during the pandemic. Many American minority businesses either did not qualify for or receive government loans designed to keep small businesses afloat, so something had to be done.

“So many black-owned businesses closed this year because of the pandemic,” says Danielle Rosser, the event organizer. The Atlanta-based publicist’s brand, UltimateCreativ, is hosting the event. “We wanted to specifically give female owners in that demographic an opportunity to close the year out strong. Many times, these women are starting businesses to create financial freedom for their families, so this is a big deal.”

This online expo offers a one-of-a-kind chance for the black community and others to show up and support the business owners who need them most.

“Right now, a lot of people are looking for black brands to spend their money with. This is one event where they can find multiple small businesses in one place,” Rosser says.

The Mahogany expo is open to anyone with an Internet connection. Attendees will be entertained by musicians and comedians in a talent showcase, and inspired by interviews with event sponsors. Tickets are now available for $5 on Eventbrite.com. Interested vendors may contact UltimateCreativ at drwordconsult@gmail.com to sign up before November 7.
