Tari Elegele Is Ready to Reclaim Her Joy on Bravo’s King’s Court

When beauty, strength, and story collide, you get Tari Elegele. The Nigerian-American international model, actress, and TV personality has graced global campaigns and stood beside some of entertainment’s biggest names.

But on Sunday, July 27th, she stepped into a new kind of spotlight: King’s Court, Will Packer’s newest reality show airing Sundays at 9 PM EST on Bravo. Known for her work with luxury brands and major platforms like Apple, Fenty, Google, Ulta, and Samsung, Tari is now sharing her personal journey with the world—one rooted in grief, faith, motherhood, and the audacity to love again.

King’s Court, hosted by Hollywood power couple Holly Robinson Peete and Rodney Peete, follows a trio of well-known bachelors—supermodel Tyson Beckford, NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer, and WWE legend Thaddeus “Titus O’Neil” Bullard—as they search for love.

But it’s the women, like Tari, who bring the heart to this show. With a story that reaches far beyond the runway, she shows viewers what it looks like to rebuild your life with intention and authenticity.

Tari’s journey began in Melbourne, Florida, but her career has taken her all over the world. From starring in campaigns for Amazon, Volkswagen, and TheraBreath to appearing in music videos with Kehlani, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, and T.I., she’s made her mark on screens big and small.

And yet, what sets her apart is not just her resume—it’s her resilience.

After losing her high school sweetheart, a rising boxing star, while pregnant with their daughter, Tari found herself navigating unimaginable grief. She named her daughter Faith—not just as a promise, but as a lifeline. That same faith continues to guide her through every season of life.

“This journey has humbled and strengthened me,” she says of her modeling career. “Modeling has taken me across the world, but it’s also brought me home to myself.” Whether she’s on set or on mom duty, Tari shows up fully—as a woman of faith, a mother of purpose, and an advocate for healing.

Her decision to join King’s Court came from a place of honesty.

“I said yes because I wanted to show the world who I really am beyond the photoshoots,” she shares. “I was also going through a tough time dealing with someone who made me feel extremely insecure. I wanted to feel genuine love.”

Throughout the season, audiences will see her vulnerability, her strength, and her unwavering sense of identity.

In a world that often glamorizes success without showing the sacrifices, Tari is candid about the grind.

“People see the glam but not the grind,” she says. “I’ve been in trailers on FaceTime helping with homework, and on red carpets with a heavy heart.” Her daughters remain at the center of everything she does. “I don’t aim for perfection, I aim for presence.”

Tari uses every platform she touches—whether it’s a television screen or her Instagram feed—to speak directly to the woman who’s healing, starting over, or unsure if she’ll ever smile again.

“I’ve been there,” she says. “There’s beauty on the other side of brokenness.”

These days, her self-care is sacred. Daily prayer, movement, boundaries, and deep connection to what really matters keep her grounded. “I’ve learned the importance of resting and remembering that who I am off-camera is more important than anything I post.”

Tari Elegele is more than a cast member on a hit reality show. She’s a mother, a survivor, a dreamer—and a woman on a mission to remind others that love after loss, joy after grief, and purpose after pain are all still possible.
