Poughkeepsie, NY – On Saturday, April 19, 2025, As One Flight, LLC, led by NYS Licensed Hiking Guide and Founder Nikki Chung, hosted its highly anticipated women’s retreat, Her Odyssey: Hiking & Healing – Celebrate Her Story, Live Your Adventure, at The Preserve at Vassar.
The event welcomed a powerful group of women from diverse backgrounds—executives, caregivers, entrepreneurs, and wellness seekers—for a day of reflection, movement, and transformation in nature. Designed as a reset point, Her Odyssey offered participants a sacred space to step away from societal expectations, pause from the overwhelm of daily life, and reconnect with their purpose through guided hiking, personalized journaling, forest bathing, and facilitated group dialogue.
“This retreat wasn’t about getting lost in the woods—it was about getting found in your truth,” said Nikki Chung. “Nature became our mirror, and each woman walked away with a renewed sense of self-worth, clarity, and alignment.”
The 5-hour immersive experience included:
- A 3.5-mile guided hike through Hudson Valley terrain
- Reflection-based journaling centered on identity, intention, and values
- Grounding forest bathing and mindfulness exercises
- A curated gourmet lunch featuring locally sourced options
- A closing empowerment circle and personalized mantra ritual
Her Odyssey emphasized the importance of rewriting personal narratives and reclaiming joy, voice, and vision—especially in a time when many high-achieving women are navigating burnout, transition, or reinvention.
