Reaching across 10 counties, the Big Tide Summit marks its third year with the launch of a new seed career fund, empowering youth in entrepreneurship, technology, and trade!
Atlanta, GA – March 18, 2025 – Georgia’s future workforce is getting a major boost, bringing together over 3,000 high school students across coastal Georgia to explore career pathways, global leadership development, and S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) opportunities. Fortune 500 companies, colleges, and trade schools expanding across the state, and metro Atlanta are providing a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make their impact big this year, allowing students to receive “real-time” on-the-job activations. Produced by RG Media Affiliates, the summit provides students with unparalleled access to career opportunities, interpersonal skill development, scholarships, and hands-on training in AI, Technology, and S.T.E.A.M. fields. With a mission to “Build The Next Generation of S.T.E.A.M. Workforce Champions,” the Big Tide Summit has already impacted over 4,000 students, fostering a pipeline of talent for Georgia’s evolving workforce.

The Big Tide Summit 2025 is set to ignite the career aspirations of these students on April 11that the Savannah Convention Center, offering a direct pathway to jobs and internships in the rapidly evolving fields of AI, Technology, and S.T.E.A.M. BIG TIDE 2025 will host a dynamic Global Leadership Development Stage, featuring an inspiring lineup of speakers. Students will have the opportunity to hear from Ivy McGregor, CEO of IVYInc and Executive Director of the BeyGood Foundation; Dr. Domenic Scalamogna, a Naval Flight Surgeon from Piedmont Health System of Atlanta; celebrity fashion designer and stylist Terrell Jones; and award-winning songwriter, producer, and actress Deanna Colon. Further enriching the educational value of the summit, attendees will be able to earn on-the-spot certificates from BIG TIDE in high-demand fields such as artificial intelligence and environmental science, offered by esteemed Georgia institutions including Georgia Tech, Georgia Southern University, and Augusta University.
The inaugural GO BIG CAREER FUND, launched this year, will provide career scholarships of $500-$1,500 to graduating Georgia seniors, particularly those pursuing trades or higher education, to facilitate their transition to post-secondary endeavors.
