Is There a Limit to Loving Your Ex

I’m sure we’ve all had an ex or two that we remain in contact with over the years. But when do we realize that the present day contact has gone too far? Of course you can lift them up in prayer or like an Instagram post, but for some the love remains deep.

In recent news we saw R & B icon, Monica, vowing her support for her ex-boyfriend, C-Murder. Now, some may run to get as far as they can from their ex but some have built strong friendships. I commend Monica for wanting to fight injustice within the criminal justice system. I also salute their powerful bond.

However, breaking up may be the best thing for other couples though. When it’s done, it’s done. No more calls, texts, letters or even following them on social media. Sometimes that clean break is needed for healing. You can have love for someone but not be in love with them.

So prayerfully C-Murder will be released soon. Hopefully Monica will be apart of the solution to the many wrongs within the criminal justice system while having no limit to her bond of friendship. Move in grace and examine your past relationships with a new outlook for the future.
