Cash Money is an Army! Rapper B.G. is Finally Home!

B.G., one of the founding members of the popular 90s rap group Hot Boys, has been released from prison after serving a 12-year sentence. He was greeted by Cash Money founder Birdman, who welcomed him back home with a warm embrace. Birdman also brought some gifts for B.G., who was overcome with emotions upon his release.

B.G. played a significant role in creating The Hot Boys in the late 1990s, with Lil Wayne, Juvenile, and Turk as members. The group’s 1999 platinum album, Guerrilla Warfare, was a success, reaching No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and producing hit songs such as “I Need a Hot Girl” and “We on Fire”. B.G.’s most significant achievement was the release of his fourth album, Chopper City in the Ghetto, in 1999. The album’s hit song “Bling Bling” (which peaked at No. 36 on the Billboard Hot 100) popularized the phrase and helped establish B.G.’s place in the music industry.
