Denzel Washington reprises his role as professional assassin Robert McCall in “The Equalizer 3.”
The R-rated action-thriller film grossed $3.8 million in previews and is expected to earn between $28 million and S30 million in its opening weekend. With the Labor Day holiday on Monday, the movie’s box office revenue could increase to as much as $40 million over the four-day period.
