Shebia “Elle” Clark launches Clark & Blake Realty Group and Clark & Blake Academy
Atlanta, GA| May 19, 2023 –
A 17-year real estate industry veteran, Clark says that Clark & Blake Realty Group will focus on educating, training and mentoring newer agents, preferably those with less than five years of experience. She says this is important to her because gaining your license is one aspect but being a Realtor with a wealth of knowledge to best advise your clients is another; that is where her training, educating and supervising as a Broker is hard to match. Elle knew she wanted to be a Realtor when she was 16 years old. She states, “Growing up in rural Mississippi, none of the Realtors looked like me. I recall asking a teacher at my high school how do I sell houses, and they told me to go to college and major in business”. Clark said, “I knew what I wanted to do, yet I didn’t have anyone to mentor or guide me into this industry.” She sees the brokerage, in part, as a way to reach back and be the mentor that she didn’t have; allowing her to “teach, train, and hold their hands” to develop successful Realtors within the firm.
Clark & Blake Realty Group is a part of the legacy that she is preparing for her son Donovan Blake, who is also the co-owner. Already a young entrepreneur, Donovan will also become a licensed Realtor after graduating high school. Clark says she recognizes that being a full time Realtor may not be his first choice in business, however, she wants him to take advantage of the tools, skills, assets and connections that the industry has to offer – opportunities that will help advance his primary business visions he already has for himself.
With that same passion for developing the next generation of real estate agents, she is also launching Clark & Blake Academy, which is partnered through Moseley Real Estate School. Clark & Blake Academy offers a Career Path Program for recent high school graduates and current college students. The program will allow students the opportunity to earn their 75 hours pre-license requirements to become an agent. The classes, taught by Elle Clark, will have weekday and weekend options available. Any student that enrolls in the pre-license course, successfully passes their Georgia salesperson real estate licensing exam and joins Clark & Blake Realty Group as a partner, will be offered Tuition Reimbursement. New agents that complete the Career Path Program, will also be able to receive an Agent Starter Kit valued at $1500 that will help to cover some of their first year expenses. Businesses and organizations that are interested in sponsoring a recent high school grad or current college student, or agents looking to join the firm, can submit an email inquiry via partner@clarkandblake.com.
At launch, the firm will be supported by affiliate partners and sponsors Fee Simple Law, South State Mortgage, New American Funding and Masters Home Mortgage. New agents, which Clark prefers to refer to as “partners”, will benefit from free monthly continuing education courses, seminars, webinars, company leads to help grow their business, competitive commission splits and low office fees. The firm will also offer paid internships to Georgia State University Real Estate majors beginning, Fall 2023 semester.
