Curve Fest Miami is set to make history as the first-of-its-kind plus-size carnival, dedicated to body positivity, diversity, and empowerment. Taking place over an unforgettable three-day weekend from July 18 to July 20, 2025, this bold event will uplift and celebrate the plus-size community with a powerful fusion of music, wellness, fashion, and culture.
The main event kicks off on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex (594 NW 23rd Street) from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Guests can expect a carnival-inspired celebration filled with vibrant entertainment, live performances, and a lively atmosphere where every curve is embraced and celebrated.
Founded by Empress, Curve Fest Miami was created to empower women of all sizes and provide a platform for plus-size beauty, individuality, and confidence. “Curve Fest Miami is the first of its kind, designed to celebrate plus-size beauty, individuality, and confidence while giving attendees a true lifestyle experience,” said Empress. “It’s not just about one day—it’s a whole weekend dedicated to joy, culture, and empowerment.”
The festival will feature a diverse lineup of local Black-owned businesses and entrepreneurs offering food, fashion, beauty products, and more. Sponsors for the event include Drink Noca and Black Girl Vitamins, among others, reflecting the strong support for this important movement.
The carnival-themed celebration will be hosted by Empress herself, encouraging attendees to embrace the spirit of carnival with costumes—though they’re not required. With a maximum capacity of 1,500 attendees, Curve Fest Miami is on track to become one of the most talked-about events of the summer, creating a safe and empowering space for plus-size women to feel seen, celebrated, and confident.
