For nine seasons Dr. Heavenly Kimes has lit up the airwaves as the Star of Bravo TV’s Popular Reality Series Married to Medicine. Being a cast member of this hit show does not nearly scratch the surface of her accomplishments. She is a successful Author of the best-selling book, ‘The Business of Love’ & the owner of her own dental practice, Smiles by Dr. Heavenly. If that is not enough to keep her busy, she has been the devoted wife to her husband, Dr. Damon for twenty-five years, and mother to her teenage daughter Alaura, who is a budding entrepreneur herself.
Together, Dr. Heavenly and her daughter have joined forces to launch their own beauty supply store Heavenly Beauty in Conyers, Ga. If that still is not enough to keep her days full, she also finds the time to offer relationship advice on her Instagram & YouTube Pages. You’ve been a part of the Married to Medicine Cast since the inaugural season what do you like most about being a part of the show?
I enjoy seeing the different places. When you get to look at yourself and look at your marriage you can actually see how good it is. It helped me to realize how good I have it. I think everyone should have a video of themselves to reflect on their behavior and how they look so that they can make changes accordingly.
Do you ever worry that people formulate preconceived notions about you based on what they see on the show?
No. I understand that the people that are for Dr. Heavenly understand her character. Being on the show has not hurt my business. It helped a lot, and I believe my husband and I are closer because of the show.
