Creative Entrepreneur Cam Kirk Chats about Partnership with the Popular Brand ‘Billionaire Boys Club’

Cam Kirk, a renowned photographer, has been making a name for himself for the past six years. He has worked with several stars, including the fast-rising female rapper Glorilla, Young Jeezy, and the popular Megan Thee Stallion. Kirk considers Atlanta his home and also the location of Cam Kirk Studios, which now houses the new Billionaire Boys Club Creative Lab. The luxury streetwear line’s founders, hitmaking producer and artist Pharrell and his partner NIGO, will help to establish the city as a major force in the world of entertainment and creative arts. Kirk is sure to play a crucial role in this movement.

What makes the BBC Creator’s Lab so unique?

What makes our new creative lab so unique is our detail to include things that the community actually needs. Everything from the design and layout of the space to the resources we offer were all designed with the creative community in mind. Our space is also completely free to use, making it extremely accessible. Not to mention it’s a combination of two brands that are very popular amongst the creative community BBC & Cam Kirk Studios.

How do you think the Creator’s Lab will help foster success and further artistic vision in the next generation?

The lab being a free resource for creatives who need the equipment or are just looking to switch up their workplace environment will help foster a ton of creativity and ideas within the community. Our studio space to date alone has housed over 30,000 appointments and photoshoots so now having a space inside where the creatives can fully complete their projects will only take things to another level.

Why do you think Atlanta has become such a rich hub for black creatives to flourish in?

Atlanta has a very warm and welcoming spirit. We embrace people here in this city and we support one another. This city prioritizes collaboration and working together, which makes Atlanta such a rich hub for black creatives.

How has the partnership with Billionaire Boys Club enhanced your overall vision and helped to increase your sphere of influence?

Partnering with BBC was extremely big for our community. It honestly and simply lets the creatives in our community know that people see them and their efforts and are there to support them. So many of us grew up idolizing the creativity surrounding the world of BBC so now to have a space that they can work out of and utilize by them is HUGE!

It was an absolute pleasure to have a conversation with Cam Kirk. He is not only a successful entrepreneur but also a philanthropist who has a genuine love for the people of Atlanta. Cam, along with Pharrell Williams and Nigo, decided to establish the Billionaire Boys Club creative lab, which is a state-of-the-art facility that provides services and resources free of charge to the public. This initiative is a powerful way to nurture emerging talents and offer them the opportunity to grow. The creative lab, located at Cam Kirk Studios, will undoubtedly be the birthplace of many more talented individuals, and it is my hope and prayer that they will continue to pay it forward to the next generation. At the time of writing, the BBC Creative Lab has launched and is sure to make a significant impact in the city.
