A Talk on New Age Spirituality and Religion with Qween Nisha

A First Generational Vodou Practitioner

Qween Nisha:  Psychic Medium, Psychology Major, Vodou Practitioner & Founder of Majestic Enchantment established in 2016

With lots of new information more easily accessible and available we’re seeing more and more about “New Age Spiritual Practitioners and Vodou.” Although it still is widely shunned upon, more and more people are returning to their roots openly practicing the religion that was passed down to them through their ancestors.

Through my own personal journey of studying Vodou the most memorable lesson I learned was the right of asking and you shall receive and with that comes great power. If and when you ask for anything you must be able to give something in return for it is the law of duality. There is no good without bad, light without dark, and no giving without receiving. No matter what the predicament is, no matter the illness, prognosis, or diagnosis if you believe it will get better then it will.

Research, Studies, and other proven facts have proved Vodou has been around for thousands of years and is a legitimate and respected religion. Just like many things in life, Vodou is not for everybody and not something to be carelessly played with. However, it can be very healing, helpful, and beneficial so what an opportunity it is to have a Q&A with Qween Nisha. Her gift of knowing and understanding differently from others inspired her to get her degree in Psychology.  It helped her help others more efficiently by gaining new Knowledge and understanding of people and why they are the way they are.

Queen Nisha can not be defined by one title, she is a woman that wears many hats: a woman with knowledge of self, a mother, wife, and business owner that creates,  mentors, leads, and teaches those she’s aligned with. She has a goal and mission to help everyone that she is supposed to help by way of her many gifts and expertise.

Be on the lookout for dates and locations in  2023 for her spiritual retreats, seminars, and more one-on-one classes. In the meantime, you can listen to her podcast, watch her YouTube channel, follow her on social media and subscribe to her website and even join her mentor group for only $20.

FEMI MAGAZINE (Keziah Preston):  To Help those in need to get a better understanding, What is a 1st Generational Vodou Practitioner, and what is the difference between Vodou and Voodoo?

QWEEN NISHA: A 1st Generational Vodou practitioner is me, of course, my great grandmother & grandmother didn’t practice openly they practiced in private & only for family. As for me, I practice publicly, and I offer my gifts worldwide. Vodou & Voodoo are exactly the same things. It’s just the spelling that makes you think there’s a difference. You can spell it Vudú , Vodou, Vodun & Vudu. Voodooism can be traced back to the Yoruba people of the 18th & 19th century. However, the origins trace back 6000-10,000 years.

KP: Spiritual practices and different religions (pagan, Wiccan, African spirituality, vodou, hodoo, voodoo) are becoming more trending. What’s your thoughts and opinions on that as someone who was born into this life and how can people tell the real from the fake ?

QWEEN NISHA: Well as a practitioner who practices it all,  the ideas & practices are all founded on a spiritual foundation & are completely different from what these newfound witches are doing just because they see it on tv. This spiritual foundation & realm is not a game & it’s more than just some candles & herbs. Now to tell a real from a fake, my biggest rule is intuition, if your intuition tells you something is not right then it’s not right. Fake practitioners will DM you and say they have a message for you, your ancestors sent them which is wrong, your ancestors will never send a stranger out of the blue to tell you nada. I tell people to ask for reviews, a business page, or a website if they can’t provide those, then they are fake as a replica Prada bag. Also if they are using WhatsApp, big RED FLAG 🚩.

KP: What was your biggest inspiration in carrying on the ancestral knowledge that you gained into building your own business?

QWEEN NISHA: My biggest inspiration was losing my Queen! My grandmother taught me everything I know & still teaches me even though she is in the spirit realm. I lost my grandmother & that was the hardest thing I ever went through. I remember it like yesterday, I stopped practicing for 7 months. I was so lost,  you could say then one day a wolf came to me while sleeping & said “wake up it’s time.” I knew then what I was supposed to do without hesitation & just like that Majestic Enchantment was born.

KP: Tell us more about your best-selling products, which is bought the most and in highest demand and what does it do?

QWEEN NISHA: Oooou my best-selling product?! That’s so hard because I offer 123 oils, candles, honey, powders, Vodou dolls, Sage kits & so much more. I would say one in particular though is my XXXL BUNDLE. In that bundle, you receive a little bit of everything: road opener, protection, and the money multiplier.

KP: I was reading about how many southern people hang bags of water with pennies in it at the doors to keep flies away but it originated from Vodou used to keep bad spirits away. What is something else part of the Vodou practice a lot of people do regularly and not even know its true origins?

QWEEN NISHA: Burning of our hair after combing it out is a big one. It’s to keep folks from being able to put a root on you. Keeping salt in our homes for protection is another.

KP: As a mentor, what is your mission with your mentorship program and how can people sign up for it?

QWEEN NISHA: My mission is to help others and to help them manifest the life they not only desire but they deserve. Your craft is as unique as you & I curated & brewed unlimited products, classes & more to complement each individual in their spiritual journey. With Majestic Enchantment you’re not just a client,  you’re family.

KP: As a master manifester, what’s an exclusive Manifesting tip or technique you can share with the FEMI Magazine Family?
