Newton’s First Presents the FIRST Big & Tall Athleisure Brand!
Nationwide – Ah, athleisure. That deliciously comfortable marriage of soft, stretchy, and breathable materials that are designed to be both comfortable and functional, while still being fashionable enough to wear outside of the gym or workout space. Thanks to the epic shift from office to remote work that the COVID-19 pandemic brought, athleisure sales have skyrocketed as more and more people are turning their backs on the rigid, uncomfortable workwear of yesteryear.

Co-founder Wil Cuadros explains, “As the legend goes, Sir Isaac Newton was sitting under an apple tree and took one errant fruit to the head, which prompted him to develop his theory of gravity. In 1687, Newton published his principle of gravity in his landmark work Principia, which also features his three laws of motion.
Newton’s First Law of Motion states, in part, that the natural behavior of a body is to move in a straight line at constant speed unless acted upon by an outside force. In our daily lives, our bodies are constantly acted upon by the outside forces of rigid and unforgiving fabrics and poorly designed garments that restrict our natural movement.
