Pastor Jeremy C. Tuck is Focus on the Mission To Bring Empowerment & Entrepreneurship through Ministry

Jeremy C. Tuck is the Senior Pastor of the Living Faith Tabernacle located in Forest Park, GA. The Pastor informed us that he not only pastors the location in Forest Park but other locations as well via satellite. Pastor Tuck focuses on the Word of God but is also on a mission of empowerment and entrepreneurship with his ministry. While he definitely puts emphasis on his people and urban areas all over, he doesn’t stop there. The description of his church is a non-denominational, multi-racial church, with people from all walks of life. He and his beautiful wife Akila have five beautiful sons, Jeremiah, Ayden, Austin, Jaxten, and Avery. He has done great things with his ministry, and there are many great things to come. Pastor Tuck was kind enough to interview with FEMI, and fill us in on what his ministry is all about:

I am going, to be honest, I first learned about your church when you had that very viral moment a couple of years back (the cardboard sign at Target). Can you please tell us a little about your ministry, for the readers who may not be familiar with it?

“Living Faith is a multi-generational ministry that reaches four generational demographics: seniors, baby boomers, millennials, and gen z. With that, it allows us to be very multifaceted in ministry. It also allows us to be multi-dimensional in our reach. Our church prides itself on community outreach, family, reaching the lost, restoration, and entrepreneurship. Living Faith is also one church in 4 locations: Forest Park, Columbus, Palmetto, and the Republic of Kenya.”

When and how did you know you were called to be a Pastor?

“I knew as early as the age of 12, but at the time, my true desire was to play professional

baseball. From an early age, I would always find myself leading or encouraging someone. As I grew, the love for people and the passion to see them grow grew within me. Seeing people evolve from the words that were preached, or the counseling that was rendered was a life-giving thing for me. I finally paid attention to what was happening in my life, and realized that I was walking in my calling before I genuinely answered the call.”

There are many ways to reach God’s people. How would you describe your way of delivering God’s messages to His people?

“I’m an efficient preacher, and I believe that one of the most significant ways to reach the lost and empower the body of Christ is through practicality, visuals, and props. Which allows people to not only hear but see and visualize the message that is being presented to them.”

You are well known for being able to reach the millennial generation. People were seeking your advice on the matter so much that you decided to write a book of instruction: “Leading The Millennial Church” (2018). Aside from the requests for your advice, what moved you to do so?

“Being a millennial myself and after conversing with other millennials who were either “de-churched”, unchurched, or exhausted from inundated religious formalities, it gave me a great burden to not only educate but to empower the church.”

During the pandemic, you have served over 60,000 families, and you have helped change the lives of many members of your church (as well as non-members). Can you explain the importance of serving, especially in such a time of isolation?

“When I think of MLK, Harriet Tubman, Maya Angelou, and Malcolm X before they were ever called abolitionists, their first mission was to serve, and in their service we now have freedom. I believe accurate service will enact freedom, especially in a time of isolation.”

Part of your purpose is teaching your congregation the importance of passing on generational wealth and educating the community on innovative family-building strategies. Can you give us some of your points of view on these subjects?

“Teaching generational wealth and educating my community is one of the many things I feel that I was born to do. Seeing our African American community have continued disparities as it relates to single-parent homes, the incarceration of our black men, and health care has me using my life and influence to help make a change, so that future generations to come will have the knowledge and tools that were not available to our ancestors.”

You blessed one of your church’s most faithful parishioners in a huge way. God had His hand in that. Can you tell us about that beautiful experience?

“The member that we blessed with the home has been a faithful member for over 16 years. During her time at Living Faith, she served in many capacities, from ushering to women’s ministry to music ministry (to name a few)…but while doing so, she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Which caused her health to decline, and she was forced to relinquish her 9-5, which caused her financial situation to change… but all the while, her faithfulness to the ministry never wavered nor declined. We decided as a church family to not only change her life, but to also change the trajectory of her life by giving her a fully furnished 3-bedroom home with no utilities for a year, and giving her back all that she had given in tithes for the last year to remind her that God rewards faithfulness.”

What are some of the things you are working on in 2022?

“I am currently working on a senior housing facility dedicated to allowing seniors

to live and thrive in the place of their choosing as they age. Our facility will also offer services of support that may be needed as their needs change as they age. I’m also working on an exclusive club for future entrepreneurs to help them create income streams that will help them launch their business, and help secure capital for their projects.”

Pastor Tuck is working hard towards making a difference in the community, and empowering others financially and entrepreneurially.
