“I’ve always believed that the world is not as complex as we think. That it’s quite simple actually. You were born with a purpose and it’s your job to discover what it is and serve.” -Gloria Ward

In the last year Ward has been able to inspire and empower women from all walks of life including but not limited to autistic mothers, mental health advocates, rape, kidnapping, domestic violence and heart attack survivors.
Ward has been spreading messages of self love around the world and wholeheartedly believes that self love and confidence is the gateway to all of life’s successes. Ward is spreading Ward is not afraid to be genuine, transparent and vulnerable which allows her story to transcend to her demographic naturally. The process of healing requires sharing moments which may be painful and/or difficult. Our experiences teach us so that we may in turn teach others.
Vulnerability
Ward believes women have a difficult time being open about hardships and painful experiences due to the fear of being judged by others. As women we are taught to multi-task and keep things together whether that is family, friends, or even work. Opening up and being vulnerable is difficult because being judged hurts too much.
The Art of Self Love
Ward believes that some ways that women can practice self-love and learn how to identify what real love is for themselves by setting boundaries, learning to say no, and ensuring they are the most important person in the world. Self love is critical when truly loving others. In others you cannot be your best self if you’re giving everything away to others and leaving nothing for yourself.
Growth & Wounds
Ward believes we heal and grow beyond the things that have harmed us in the past and left emotional scars by acknowledging that what you went through does not define you but it has helped shape you into the person you are today. Ward is an avid believer in therapy to overcome those wounds which left emotional scars. Therapy has helped her face some of her darkest experiences. It also made her realize how much power she was giving to her past instead of directing that energy onto her future. If therapy is currently not an affordable option, consider joining the I’m Loving Me Project or similar organizations to assist on the healing journey. Ward offers may free resources for women.
Growth & Forgiveness
Ward affirms that forgiveness is monumental for both yourself and others to achieve self-growth. The purpose of forgiveness is not to forget but to move on. It allows you to accept that whatever occurred does not define you. There is so much more to life than that situation or experience. When you can genuinely forgive others it is a testament to your growth, as it is the ultimate test of growth.
Supportive Women
Ward affirms women can be more supportive of each other by collaborating, working with and support each other whenever possible. Women who support other women create better communities and nations.
