Denzel Directs and Michael B. Jordan Stars in Upcoming Film “Journal for Jordan”

The movie is based on a memoir, “A Journal for Jordan: A Story of Love and Honor,” by Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Dana Canedy. It reflects the real-life tale of First Sergeant Charles Monroe King, performed by Michael B. Jordan, who pens love letters and experiences to his infant son, similarly named Jordan, while he’s abroad. King was slain in Iraq in 2006 when his son was only seven months old; his then-wife, Canedy, performed in the film by Chanté Adams, holds all the moving and inspirational words in a roster for their growing son.

“A Journal for Jordan” is composed by Oscar-specified screenwriter Virgil Williams, who modified the 2017 classical drama “Mudbound” from the identical name book. He later received a nod for best-adapted screenplay at that year’s Academy Awards. Denzel Washington will direct in attachment to performing adjacent Jordan.

The movie releases in cinemas this Christmas.
