Self-Care for the Outsiders: I Only go Outside for Work and to Run Errands

Now, I am not the one to run outside every chance I get; however, I do enjoy the small rippling of a body of water or the majestic views of mountains or Caverns that are in Alabama every now and then! So, for my birthday I dragged along my boyfriend to the Cathedral Caverns in Woodville, Alabama, to celebrate my 26th birthday. Before having to force my boyfriend to come with me, lol, I decided that for my birthday I will not spend it indoors, I literally refused to take the outdoors for granted, and not witness something more that God created. Now, most of my followers have been to the Cathedral Caverns during elementary school or middle, but to return as an adult, and witness the Earth’s creations, was astonishing, and more than memorable. Because let’s face it, I barely remembered much during those times and I just enjoyed the fact that I did not have to “Attend” school that day!

Well, what is the big deal of going outside, you may ask? If you are a spiritual or nature person, you pretty much require some outside time. If you find yourself drained a lot, eating nothing but junk food, constantly on the run, and not taking a second to enjoy life. Guess what? You officially suffer from “I Only go Outside for Work and to Run Errands”, but YOU can totally break away from this. Trust me, I get it. I get the full-time this and full-time that, have to do this, and must do that, but when are you going to find time to do something for you? Ok, so even if you are not a nature person; going to the park, a lake, the pool, anything in this area, can be life changing and momentum at this point. What will you do for your mental health? How will you overcome your I Only go Outside for Work and to Run Errands syndrome, find out more at the next Dragon Ball Z. No, I am joking, but seriously, step outside and enjoy the nature for a second before only rushing to do your must to do list. Make yourself a priority, and you will start to see a change.
