Kapitol P Releases New Single “Free ‘Em All

Kapitol P, known from A&E’s Magnified Voices: Locked Up In America, has found a new lease on life and is giving everybody a glimpse into it with his new single “Free Em’ All”. “Free Em’ All is lyricism at its finest and brings depth and light to the joys of being free. The song features Kapitol P’s uncle Chairman Fred Hampton, Jr., the President and Chairman of the Black Panther Party Cubs and the only child of Chairman Fred Hampton, Sr,. the original leader of the Black Panther Party in Chicago who was killed by Chicago P.D.
Kapitol P states, “I felt it was important to release this record right now during Black History Month because knowledge is the foundation, and history can’t change nor pass away. so it’s important to be knowledgeable of the true history of our forefathers and comrades who sacrificed and lost their lives for the people.” He also states, “Our people are woke right now due to the conditions of our community and with the release of the film (Judas and The Black Messiah) about my great uncle, I wanted to create a song where I could give a history lesson and spit the truth of the Chairman’s legacy without going over people’s head.”
