Global Beauty Mogul Bella Rose Lands Target Deal With 7 Figure Brand

Bella Rose is a thriving entrepreneur, beauty & lifestyle philanthropist, wife, and mother. Bella developed a love for Glam, in 2008 with interest in the new trends Bella Launched the Bella Rose Passion Brand she dived head-on into the beauty industry by opening the company’s first brick and mortar, Bella Rose Boutique in 2010. Bella took that opportunity to feed her love of the latest fashion and trends. After high demand from well-based clientele about her potential for carrying makeup, she decided to launch a cosmetics company to meet their needs. Naming the line Bella Rose Passion. The lip line features all-natural products, made with special ingredients such as Shea butter, which helped launch a natural revolution in the cosmetic industry. Bella Rose Passion Cosmetics have been featured on many celebrity faces and in shows, such as R&B Divas Atlanta, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Starz Original “POWER” and various music artist.

Here is what she shared with FEMI in a recent interview.

You’ve had an amazing career in the beauty and television industries, most recently landing a 7-figure deal with Target, what can we expect from you next?

To be honest, Bella Rose Passion was a 7-figure brand before we launched with Target.com solely from daily website sales. Bella Rose Passion sells natural hair care products with Walmart.com and does really well.  Right now, we would like to focus on our Target partnership. It took us so long to achieve this amazing accomplishment, we definitely don’t want to lose focus and move to the next thing. 

Work/life balance can be challenging, some even say it’s a myth, how do you balance everything that comes with running a beauty empire, family, and everyday life?

When I started Bella Rose Passion, it did get my 100% focus because I had to learn so much. But as time went on, I started doing trade shows and would take my kids with me. They were so interested in working that my daughter became amazing at customer service. I would be amazed sometimes watching her sell products to customers and she was 14/15 years old at the time. She’s now 22 and is our lead ambassador as a social media influencer. I look at the growth of the brand and how it has influenced my family.

My oldest son is the product manager. He knows more about the products than I do now. It makes me so proud! My husband is my business manager and accountant. And our youngest son was just hired to help with packaging. I chose to incorporate my family with my brand so not only to spend more time with them, but to show them what ownership looks and feels like on your terms. Our son learned the meaning of entrepreneurship in Pre-K. When he is asked what he wants to do in life, his answer has always been, become an entrepreneur. 

Running a beauty empire cannot be easy, how do you ensure that you maintain a healthy lifestyle for yourself and family?

My brand is a lifestyle. My products increase health and I know when you feel better you look better daily. 

How did you pivot from the beauty industry into television? Was it an easy transition?

It was kind of easy because a lot of our clients were reality stars and artists. I would see a video shoot or scene, and as a creative, it just didn’t look right. I have assisted so many producers on scenes and concepts, that I wanted to give it a shot for myself. It wasn’t as simple as I thought it would be, but I had the right team around to help along the way.

You’re very heavily involved in charitable activities, specifically partnering with the Brain Aneurysm Foundation. What other ways does Bella Rose give back to communities?

Bella Rose assists with other charities, donates food and female personal hygiene products monthly. We stay as active as possible in our community.
