“Accept failure, and you will always lose” – E.Hall, M.F.A., B.S.
Success stories in entertainment often focus on the spotlight, but Erin Hall’s path was built far away from the cameras. Before launching a production company, mentoring students, and earning a Master of Fine Arts in Filmmaking, Hall was a young woman in Denver carrying the weight of family struggles, financial pressure, and uncertainty while refusing to let those realities define her future.
Raised in Denver, Colorado, Hall grew up deeply connected to music and the arts. Like many young creatives in the early 2000s, she found inspiration watching BET’s 106 & Park after school. While she initially dreamed of becoming a singer, she eventually discovered her passion was behind the scenes, helping artists and performers develop their vision and reach their potential.

That realization would shape the course of her career.
Hall’s journey toward higher education was anything but easy. While attending college, she balanced demanding overnight work schedules cleaning city buses while trying to stay focused on her classes and long-term goals. At times, personal challenges at home added emotional strain to an already difficult season of life. Still, she remained determined to create a better future for herself and her family.
“I always knew that a worthwhile better day would take time,” Hall shared. “I just stayed focused on what I had to do.”
What helped sustain her through those years was the support of people who believed in her when she needed encouragement most. Hall credits her mother as one of her greatest sources of motivation, along with mentors like Donelyn Jones and Mr. Armstrong, who introduced her to opportunities connected to BET and the entertainment industry. Their support became a reminder that someone saw potential in her, even during seasons when doubt surrounded her.

While working toward her degree at Metropolitan State University of Denver and later the University of Colorado Denver, Hall also dedicated time to mentoring unhoused youth in downtown Denver. Those conversations became deeply personal for her because she understood what it felt like to need guidance, encouragement, and hope during difficult moments.
“It’s just in my heart to see the young ones succeed,” Hall explained. “Looking in their eyes, I saw the passion that they had, but didn’t know where to place their passion.”
Rather than simply speaking about change, Hall chose to become part of it.
After graduating, she relocated to Los Angeles where she earned her MFA in Filmmaking in 2020. She later moved to Atlanta to continue building her production company while also mentoring students through the YMCA and educational programs focused on music and the arts.

Today, Hall’s work extends far beyond entertainment. Her mission centers on creating positivity through music, film, and mentorship in a time when negativity often dominates public spaces. Whether she is producing creative projects or encouraging young people to stay committed to their goals, Hall continues to use her experiences as fuel to uplift others.
Hall’s impact and dedication to both the entertainment industry and community empowerment have continued to earn recognition. In 2024, she received a Lifetime Achievement Award honoring her contributions to music, film, mentorship, and humanitarian work. Never one to stop growing, Hall is also currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Leadership and Organizational Strategy, further expanding her commitment to education, leadership, and creating meaningful change both inside and outside of the entertainment industry.
Her advice to those struggling with discouragement is direct and deeply earned: “Don’t let someone who is not in your shoes, dictate your steps.”

Erin Hall’s story is not simply about overcoming obstacles. It is about choosing purpose despite them, and proving that perseverance, guidance, and faith in your vision can carry you further than circumstances ever could.
