Meeting families where they are, CheMinistry Cares shows up for families when it matters the most.
This holiday season, CheMinistry Cares is answering a quiet but urgent need across Metro Atlanta, one rooted in compassion, dignity, and meaningful action. Founded by Chanel Nicole Scott, CheMinistry Cares will host a surprise Holiday Edition pop-up takeover on December 20 at 12:00 PM, offering support to families in real time at a local business location that will remain undisclosed until the moment unfolds.

Created as a community impact initiative centered on children and families, CheMinistry Cares was born from Scott’s belief that care should be felt, not announced. The Holiday Edition reflects that belief through a thoughtful giveback designed to ease the pressures many families face during the season and lift the added weight of holiday expectations and gifts for children.
While Scott is widely recognized as the creator of CheMinistry and CMO of In The Black Network, this initiative places the organization itself front and center, highlighting its mission to meet families where they are with empathy and intention.
CheMinistry Cares: Holiday Edition is not about spectacle, it is about presence. In a time when rising costs, economic uncertainty, and financial strain are reshaping daily life for families across Metro Atlanta, this initiative acknowledges that the need for support extends far beyond the holidays. For many households, the pressure of groceries, utilities, and basic necessities has become a constant, not a seasonal concern. CheMinistry Cares steps in quietly and intentionally, offering relief during a season that often magnifies existing hardships. Through this surprise pop-up, families will experience meaningful support that honors their dignity, meets them where they are, and recognizes the weight they carry every day, not just in December, but throughout the year.
Chanel Nicole Scott, founder of CheMinistry Cares, reminds us, “When families feel a little lighter, children feel it too.”
With the support of impact partner The Childcare Cartel, led by Sherri J. White, CheMinistry Cares continues to create moments that lighten the load for parents and bring joy and ease to children, reminding families that they are seen and valued within their community.
As Metro Atlanta navigates a growing need for assistance, CheMinistry Cares stands as a beacon of hope, demonstrating that meaningful change often happens in small, intentional moments. Moments that leave behind smiles, deep exhales, and the quiet reassurance that someone showed up when it mattered most.
About CheMinistry Cares
CheMinistry Cares is the community impact initiative founded by Chanel Nicole Scott. Centered on children and families, the initiative focuses on showing up through intentional, practical moments of care, particularly during seasons when extra support can make a meaningful difference. CheMinistry Cares is grounded in the belief that real conversation is only as strong as the action that follows it, and that community is built through presence, not performance.
