Tierra Styles is a woman whose life embodies grace, resilience, and unwavering faith. A native of Buford, Georgia, Tierra has gracefully embraced her divine calling while balancing the roles of pastor, singer, wife, mother, and community leader. Her journey is not only inspiring, it’s a testament to the transformative power of God’s love and purpose.
A graduate of Buford High School and American Intercontinental University, Tierra spent over a decade in the banking industry. While she excelled professionally, her heart was always drawn to ministry and music. From the age of three, Tierra began singing, and her voice quickly became a vessel of healing and worship. Whether she’s ministering through song at Tabernacle International Church in Lawrenceville or patriotically singing the national anthem at public events, Tierra’s voice carries the unmistakable presence of God.

Her recent solo release, “Hope in You Alone,” marks a significant milestone in her musical journey. The song is not just a debut—it’s a declaration of faith. Inspired by Isaiah 43:2, the lyrics speak to the soul of anyone who has faced adversity and found strength in God. Tierra’s vocal delivery is both tender and powerful, weaving vulnerability with spiritual authority. The production is clean and emotive, allowing the message to shine through with clarity and conviction. It’s a song that doesn’t just entertain ministers, its deep, diverse, and music that reaches across generations.
Listeners have described “Hope in You Alone” as a balm for the weary, a reminder that God walks with us through deep waters and fiery trials. Tierra’s voice invites the listener into a sacred space of surrender, where healing begins and hope is restored. It’s clear that this song was born from a place of deep personal experience and spiritual revelation.

Behind the music lies a story of profound loss and redemption. Tierra’s life was forever changed by the tragic death of her four-year-old son, Tye. The pain of losing a child is unimaginable, yet Tierra chose to lean into her faith rather than be consumed by grief. She answered the call to ministry, graduating from Tabernacle International Church School of Ministry and licensed by Apostle Fritz Musser and ordained by Bishop Maddox.
Today, she serves as a licensed and ordained minister, offering spiritual guidance and comfort to those navigating their own valleys.
Tierra’s ministry is deeply personal and rooted in compassion. Alongside her husband, Rev. Jermaine Styles Sr., she co-founded Prophesied Purpose Ministries Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the community through spiritual support and practical resources. Together, they have built a blended family of five children—Christian, Kya, Dre, Jr., and Justice—and are proud grandparents to four grandchildren. Their home reflects love, faith, and purpose in action.
One of the most powerful aspects of Tierra’s journey is her commitment to forgiveness. Over the past decade, she has walked a path of healing that included forgiving the man responsible for her son’s death. “It’s not enough to say, ‘I forgive you,’” Tierra shares. “You must walk in it and believe that God is greater than any circumstance. That’s when true peace comes.” Her testimony is a powerful reminder that forgiveness is not a feeling, it’s a choice, and one that leads to freedom.
In 2026, Tierra and her ministry will relaunch their signature event, the Trials to Triumph Brunch. Originally created for mothers who’ve lost children, the event will now welcome anyone grieving the loss of a loved one. It will be a space for healing, connection, and spiritual renewal, an extension of Tierra’s heart for the hurting. Through this event, she hopes to create a community where people can share their stories, find support, and experience the transformative power of God’s love.

Tierra’s impact extends beyond the church and into the broader community. She has been a featured speaker at the Gwinnett County Annual Victims of Crime Candlelight Vigil in 2017, 2018, and 2019, and was honored with the Humanitarian Award by the Women of Virtue Transitional Foundation (now known as ThriveHER Incorporated). Her voice and presence bring comfort to those in mourning, and her story continues to inspire others to find strength in their faith.
Tierra Styles is not just a woman of faith; she is a woman of action. Her life, her music, and her ministry are all reflections of a servant who has chosen to rise, to serve, and to sing through the storm. With “Hope in You Alone” now streaming on all major platforms, Tierra is poised to reach even more hearts with her message of faith, healing, and unwavering hope.
