Beignet Spot: Where Flavor, Family, and Legacy Rise Together

Angela Alcé is the visionary behind The Beignet Spot, a fast-growing, family-owned food brand that blends legacy, leadership, and Southern flavor into every bite. What began as a dream rooted in her deep Southern heritage and years of experience as a corporate caterer has transformed into a vibrant culinary movement. With her family by her side, Angela turned her love for food and community into a thriving enterprise that now spans multiple locations across Southern California, including their first franchise store opened in May.

At The Beignet Spot, each powdered sugar-dusted pastry is more than a dessert—it’s a soulful tribute to heritage, hospitality, and bold creativity. The menu is a rich fusion of sweet and savory, featuring signature beignets paired with globally inspired sauces like jerk aioli and vegan tomato jam, alongside decadent delights such as Bananas Foster and Peach Cobbler Beignets. Dishes like “Eggs N’Ghetti” reimagine comfort food with a cultural twist, reflecting Angela’s culinary roots and fearless imagination.

But what truly sets The Beignet Spot apart is its purpose-driven foundation. Angela’s vision is bigger than beignets. She has built a woman-led business where culture, community, and family are central. Along with her husband Carlo and eldest son Fabrice, she leads a team committed to excellence and authenticity. Carlo brings structure and intentionality to operations, while Fabrice drives innovation through the brand’s Beignet Spot Express model, setting the stage for scalable growth and national expansion.

With two successful corporate locations and a robust franchise model in motion, the Alcés are on track to open 50 stores nationwide within the next five years. Their long-term plan includes international expansion and a continued focus on empowering others. Angela’s passion for mentorship shines through initiatives like WOW (Women of Worth), a community for women looking to lead with purpose, and BOSS (Building On Spiritual Substance), a program that has already mentored over 800 youth entrepreneurs in Haiti and is preparing for its U.S. debut.

Even the smallest details of the brand reflect a deep commitment to legacy-building. From branding led by son Michael to carefully crafted training programs for staff, every aspect of The Beignet Spot carries the Alcé family’s fingerprint. Angela believes, “Legacy isn’t about money. It’s about impact.” That belief informs every decision made—from the kitchen to the boardroom.

The Beignet Spot is more than a restaurant—it’s a cultural contribution. A flavorful celebration of family, history, and the power of vision. One beignet, one family, and one bold mission at a time.
