The Big Tide Summit 2025 brought together over 3,000 high school students across 11 Georgia counties for a full day of hands-on career activations, S.T.E.A.M. learning, and direct mentorship from industry leaders. Held at the Savannah Convention Center, the event featured global speakers, on-the-spot certifications, and immersive training labs.
A highlight of the day was the launch of the GO BIG Career Fund, awarding over $2,500 in scholarships to three graduating seniors:
- Riniya Roberts (Liberty County)
- Ivan Tovar-Torres (Liberty County)
- Oquajie Williams (Chatham County)

“We’re here to be the bridge—whether students are headed to college or straight into a trade,” said founder Robert Gould.
Their stories reflect the heart of Big Tide’s mission: creating opportunities, recognizing achievement, and supporting students as they take the next bold steps in their futures.

Big Tide organizers extend deep gratitude to the 2025 sponsors whose support made this year’s summit possible: Gulfstream, Landmark 24 Homes, Savannah Convention Center, HJ Russell & Company, Technique Concrete, Comcast, Roberts Civil Engineering, and Coca-Cola.
Looking ahead to Big Tide 2026, the initiative is actively welcoming new partners, sponsors, and supporters to help scale its momentum and expand its impact across Georgia.
