Mothers to Daughters Launches U.S. Expansion with High-Impact Initiatives to Empower Women Entrepreneurs

TORONTO, ON — Mothers to Daughters, a Canadian not-for-profit and parent company of Mothers to Daughters Inc. (501(c)(3)) in the U.S., today announced a landmark expansion of its operations into the United States. This strategic growth reinforces its commitment to fostering intergenerational mentorship, innovative entrepreneurship, and gender equity, with a bold goal of supporting 100,000 women-led businesses by 2035 to help women achieve lasting financial independence.

The expansion coincides with the organization’s 5th anniversary on March 8, 2025, marking five years of building a vibrant community of over 3,000 women across North America. Through its generational-insight-led approach, Mothers to Daughters connects emerging leaders with accomplished women who share their lived experiences, insights, and expertise, ensuring that the wisdom of one generation inspires and equips the next.

“As we expand into the U.S. and celebrate our 5th anniversary, we’re reminded of the power of intergenerational mentorship to transform lives,” said Francine Mbvoumbo, Founder and President of Mothers to Daughters. “Our generational-insight-led approach ensures that the wisdom of successful women guides the next generation. By growing our reach, we’re building a future where women’s economic independence is strengthened through entrepreneurship and mentorship. Our goal of 100,000 women-led businesses by 2035 is ambitious but achievable with collective effort.”

High-Impact Initiatives to Drive Growth and Mentorship
