Event To Be Co-Hosted by Photographer and Entrepreneur Cam Kirk and Atlanta-based Advertising Agency Chemistry

Acclaimed photographer and Founder of Cam Kirk Studios, Cam Kirk, announced recently that Yesterday’s Tomorrow, an annual conference empowering Black American youth, will take place on Martin Luther King Jr Day, January 15th, 2024. Now in its fifth year, the conference focuses on helping Black young adults shape the landscape of their surroundings by initiating the positive change they would like to see. The one-day event will be held from 10:00 am-7:00 pm at Cam Kirk Studios, a 7000-square-foot haven for creatives in Atlanta.

“Martin Luther King Jr Day 2024 will mark the fifth anniversary of Yesterday’s Tomorrow, celebrating five years of dedicated community involvement from Atlanta’s creative youth,” said Cam Kirk. “I am continually inspired by the commitment to serve from the next generation of leaders and look forward to building a better tomorrow together.”

Yesterday’s Tomorrow will gather local youth changemakers for a day of one-on-one career-building workshops, keynotes, and conversations with industry leaders and prominent Atlanta figures from the art, business, fashion, music, and community engagement worlds. Featured speakers include actor Woody McClaine, Co-Founder & CEO of The Gathering Spot, Ryan Wilson, YouTuber and Wild N’ Out star, D.C. Young Fly, viral TikTok barber Vic Blends, and rising rapper Big Boss Vette. The fifth Yesterday’s Tomorrow conference is supported by The Athlete’s Foot and Atlanta professional sports teams the Atlanta United FC, and the Atlanta Braves Foundation.

“This is an incredible opportunity for brands to serve their community,” said Chris Breen, CCO & Partner at Chemistry Advertising Agency. “Atlanta is such a unique and vibrant city, one that is shaped, in large part, by a unique creative voice.
