Eight -Year- Old Black Author Sprinkles some Black Girl Magic During the Coronavirus

Whether you have gone viral on TikTok, quit your job, became an entrepreneur, or finally got some you time, we have to admit that there has been some type of a positive outcome from this COVID-19 pandemic. For most, being in quarantine was our best friend, and for others, it has been a drag. It has been a little over five months since the coronavirus made her way into people’s lives in the United States and has caused uncertainty and damage. Many are still figuring out the dynamics of the situation, while some are riding the wave. On the other hand, you have Ms. Chaunetta, the mother to Trinity Anderson from Maryland, who decided to make the best of the situation and begin a business and WRITE A CHILDRENS BOOK! So, if you have a daughter, niece, or God-daughter, to name a few and want to add a little more of black to your book collection, order Black Girl Magic Sprinkles.

“I wanted to write a book about someone that looks like me,” Says Trinity.

What do you want to be when you grow up, is a typical question asked to children, but what if the child becomes discouraged because she does not see anyone that resembles her beautiful melanin complexion? Black Girl Magic Sprinkles adventures into the world of a young character who inspires to be a Teacher, but is wary of her decision because she does not see herself in others that are in the desired profession. As a parent, what do you plan next when your child dreams have been shattered and have little to no hope of pursuing her goals? You create your child an LLC and help write a book with her, is what you do. Not only is Black Girl Magic Sprinkles a book, but it is also an LLC. On Ms. Chaunetta and Trinity’s website, https://bgmbooks.square.site, you can find a cute display of the book, a bookmark, a mask, and an Educate Yourself Lip Balm collection. With this dynamic combination, your child can become inspired, educated on many black-owned inventors, and encouraged to make a difference in self and others. “I want to teach about black women that we do not commonly hear about,” says Ms. Chaunetta, as she furthers the importance of the Educate Yourself Lip Balm collection. Also, if you are not able to visit the website, you can find Black Girl Magic Sprinkles in major retailers such as Walmart, Target, and Barnes and Noble. Oh, and we cannot forget about Amazon!

What about Coronavirus and school?

Returning to school during the Coronavirus has been a hassle for many parents and their children. However, Ms. Chaunetta understands the importance of being safe and cautious from a mother’s perspective and a Teacher. To help ease the mind of everyone around the house, Ms. Chaunetta offers positive affirmations to her daughter, such as, “You are your person,” and “You are beautiful.” On the business side, Ms. Chaunetta will tell her daughter, “You did a great job,” or “Great job speaking in front of the group today.” When asked how it is to manage children, school, and business, Ms. Chaunette transparently discussed how she was nervous about managing the business and everything else. However, orders have become steadier, and it is has become more manageable to maintain her lifestyle. A positive affirmation that Ms. Chaunetta uses for herself to manage daily activities is, “Even if you haven’t seen it doesn’t mean you can’t achieve it.” Trinity also chimed in during the interview to mention that she uses the same quote when her annoying big brother and fraternal twin is bothering her.

What is next?

Since publishing Black Girl Magic Sprinkles in June, Trinity has become more inspired to continue publishing. Trinity discussed how she wants to write a quarantine book featuring her siblings and then said, Coronavirus in her Cardi B voice as she was leaving the conversation. Ms. Chaunetta also discussed how she is planning to write a book just for the boys. So, while these next few books are preparing, be sure to buy, enjoy, and read Black Girl Magic Sprinkles, until then.
