Ashanti Plays a Bride Clashing with an Unwanted Guest in ‘The Plus One’.
According to Deadline, the upcoming movie will star the singer in the lead role of Lizzie. The story centers around Lizzie’s plea to her “Male of Honor,” Marshall, to not invite his ex-girlfriend, Marie, to her destination wedding. Despite his unresolved feelings for Marie, Marshall brings her as his plus one, and Marie makes it her mission to ruin Lizzie’s special day.
