The original family holiday comedy Dashing Through the Snow has an official release date.
The film, featuring Lil Rel Howery, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, and Teyonah Parris, will premiere on Disney+ on November 17th. According to a press statement, the movie follows Eddie Garrick, a social worker for the Atlanta police department, and his estranged daughter on a journey on Christmas Eve. The trip helps Eddie to rediscover the joy and magic of the holiday season, which he had turned his back on due to a traumatic childhood experience. Chris “Ludacris” Bridges plays the role of Eddie Garrick, a good-hearted man. In the movie, after his estranged wife (portrayed by Parris) requests it, he takes his daughter (Madison Skye Validum) to work where they meet Nick (Howery), a mysterious character.
The movie is helmed by Tim Story and penned by Scott Rosenberg. John Jacobs and Will Packer are the producers while Tim Story, Johanna Byer, Ross Fanger, and Zac Unterman are the executive producers. The cast includes Mary Lynn Rajskub, Ravi V. Patel, Gina Brillon, Kevin Connolly, and Zulay Henao.
