The Holidays are a wonderful time to enjoy a cup of hot cocoa and snuggle up by the fireplace. Even if the weather is not currently ideal, it doesn’t stop us from feeling excited about the upcoming Netflix Holiday Film ‘Best. Christmas. Ever.’ which features Brandy, a Grammy-winning music icon, as well as Matt Cedeño and Heather Graham.
The film is written by Charles Shyer, the director and writer of Father of the Bride, and Todd Calgi Gallicano, who authored the Sam London Adventure book series. It tells the story of Jackie, played by Brandy, who sends a holiday newsletter every Christmas that makes her old college friend, Charlotte (played by Graham), feel inferior. However, when fate brings Charlotte, her husband Rob (played by Biggs), and their family to Jackie’s snowy doorstep just before Christmas, Charlotte sees an opportunity to prove that Jackie’s life isn’t as perfect as it seems. But her attempt to expose Jackie’s flaws nearly ruins Christmas for both families, and she must join forces with her old friend to restore the holiday spirit.
Best. Christmas. Ever! will be released on Netflix Thursday, November 16, 2023
