Eczema is a skin condition that brings discomfort and is difficult to get under control. Wife and mother, Tiffany Harris, is a licensed cosmetologist, occupational therapist, and lymphatic drainage specialist who has personally dealt with eczema challenges through her daughters. Like others, Tiffany had tried many products that did not work. Wanting to stick with natural, organic ingredients and products, Tiffany decided to create her own; it worked! It not only worked for her daughters but many others as well. Whip My Butta Organics launched in 2019, a few months before the pandemic hit. Even though the world was faced with a lockdown, Whip My Butta Organics was still a success because eczema was not going anywhere, and people still needed the right product that worked for them. This year, Whip My Butta Organics added a plant-based hair care system called Jania. Tiffany is also the owner of The Wrapped Company, which is a lymphatic drainage service company in upstate New York. Tiffany believes in taking care of oneself and wants everyone to feel as great as they look.

Some people would probably say I’m a skincare entrepreneur or a hairstylist, but I’m really just a wife and mom who wants her family to be healthy as well as help others with their basic skin ailments. True enough, I originally started my plant-based skincare and haircare company Whip My Butta Organics, to relieve my children’s skin and hair issues. Still, I’m passionate about healing the people around me when you get down to it.
Your daughters’ skin conditions inspired you to create Whip My Butta Organics. How does it feel to know that your products have also helped many others with their skin conditions?
You know, it’s really nice to hear so many of our customers say that our products have basically reversed the eczema symptoms that so many people have suffered from – including my daughters. They were so small when I started creating body butter for them, and it’s hard to believe how quickly three years have gone by! But I’m humbled that what cleared up their breakouts is working for so many others.
How was the process of making Whip My Butta Organics?
I knew initially that I definitely did not want a steroid to treat my kids’ eczema conditions. I was so frustrated with spending money on so-called eczema creams for my daughters that either didn’t work, claimed they were natural/organic and weren’t, or both, so I decided to just make my own with natural ingredients. Once I had figured out the right body butter formula and had gotten a lot of buy-in from my friends and family, I decided to plan my launch for 2019. We’re based in New York state, so I got a little nervous when the state said we were going on lockdown just a few months after we launched. I almost started to doubt myself, but I knew that I had something that would sell, even if our world was being turned upside down – and I was right. We made a 6-figure profit in the second year of launching. In January of this year, we released our plant-based hair care system – Jania – which can be used by the whole family!
What is your daily skincare routine? What skincare tips can you share with our readers?
My skincare routine is very simple. I use my Exfoliating Facial Wash every day and use my Acne Facial Wash in addition to that three times a week. After, I use my Hydrating Facial Toner and then my Daily Essential Facial Cream as a moisturizer. Lastly, sunscreen every day! I’m prone to having very bad acne breakouts, so I use Face Reality sunscreen because it’s non-comedogenic and helps to reduce my breakouts.
You are also the owner of The Wrapped Company, which is a lymphatic drainage service. Tell us more about this brand and lymphedema.
Okay, besides having my cosmetology and occupational therapy licenses, I’m also a licensed lymphedema therapist and wound care specialist. That means that I perform therapeutic massage and other treatments on people when their bodies are holding excess fluid in their limbs from recent surgery, trauma, or a health condition. The swelling that comes from holding that fluid is called lymphedema, and it can be an inconvenience for anyone who’s dealing with it. At The Wrapped Company, I drain that fluid through massage and other natural methods so my clients can go throughout their everyday lives as comfortably as possible.
What is the best advice you can give someone on the journey of creating a healthier lifestyle?
Just take everything a day at a time and be intentional. Really think about what you’re putting into and onto your body because it affects you one way or another. How is it going to benefit you, and beyond that, what natural approach can you take to healing whatever is ailing you?!
