Being a masterful beautician she combined her Haitian roots and knowledge of nature’s bounty to develop products that grow, moisturize and elevate natural black hair.

Who is Johanne Joseph?
I am a retired Master stylist and salon owner with over 15 years of experience. I am originally from Haiti and enjoy formulating hair care products using natural ingredients like herbs, barks, and roots. I’m also a loving wife and mother of 2 beautiful boys and a beauty mogul.
How did the journey with your hair or just hair, in general, get started?
My journey with my hair started back when I was 16 years old, honestly, just out of necessity.
How would you describe Afro-type Hair?
Afro-type hair is many things! The simplest way to describe it is beautiful, voluminous, and versatile.
What inspired you to create your own products?
Formulating hair products used to be a great hobby of mine, because I’ve always felt a void in finding the right products for my hair. Before I even got into the beauty business I used to share some of my products with friends and family who kept asking for more and more, which inspired me to start selling them. And that’s how J’organics was born!
Do you see yourself as a major voice for Afro-type hair?
I do, because not only do I have 4c natural hair, I have also worked closely with afro hair clients almost my entire life. I’m all about formulas that actually work while pushing the narrative of how beautiful Afro hair really is.
What should we look out for from J’Organics Solutions next?
We are currently working on two amazing game-changing hair care lines which we look forward to launching in January.
