The American Black Film Festival kicked off on November 3rd and will continue until November 28th.
Twenty-five years later, the festival has become a cornerstone of diversity in Hollywood, providing a platform for emerging Black artists – many of whom have become today’s most successful actors, producers, writers, directors, and stand-up comedians.
As “the nation’s largest gathering of Black film and television enthusiasts” the ABFF attracts a broad audience of celebrity talent, emerging artists, upscale consumers, and industry stakeholders. Historically, 7,000 to 10,000 people have traveled to Miami Beach each year for the event. This year the festival has gone virtually providing a worldwide digital experience.
The festival has so much to offer anyone who is a big film and television lover or looking to get into the business. The talk events this year really caught my eye as they have some major Black Hollywood royalty on the line-up. As well as introducing some new shows or hearing for the cast. Not only are the panelists’ heavy hitters but also the moderators from some of your favorite media powerhouses. Just a few that have caught my eye. You can find the full schedule of events on the American Black Film Festival website. Talk Events – American Black Film Festival Miami (abff.com). Registration is Free!
