Again, Will Packer gives us another need and relatable addition to Bigger’s performance. The comedic needed series starring Actress Tanisha Long (previously High Maintenance), Angell Conwell (formerly Family Time), Rasheda Crockett (previously Adam Ruins Everything), Chase Anthony (Journey of a Goddess), and Tristen Winger (Insecure) is one of BET+ most significant and worth a binge on both seasons.
Bigger continues into season two following characters Layne, a single black woman, and her supportive group of 30 year olds as they travel with the concept of complication of love, alliances, the professional world, and determination. Of course, most importantly, the route is getting through it together.
For starters with season, one opening a conversation and even a perspective starting with Layne’s up and complicated relationship with her quirky fiancé Greg and her retro store “Back in the Day,” but also showcasing Veronica’s effort to get her rental business up and moving & growing to be Atlanta’s own prime real estate agent.
Vince’s opposition to all new things when it comes to the world of DJ and the fear of selling out and last but not new in fear of change, Tracey’s being filled with contention to be the next colossal reality star and keep accurate to herself, and Deon’s conflicting with being black in corporate America while looking after his family but neglecting himself for the most part. Bigger Season 2 touches on all the topics: such as mental health, love, loss, complicated relationship and the culture, and so much more.
And with some secrets that we might need in season three to unfold.
But, most importantly, bigger gives a playful twist and needed perspective of every day almost 30-year-old of today’s world. Yes, that includes living in a pandemic.
