It’s the big day; Ralph Angel’s and Darla wedding day is finally here! With everything they’ve been through, this is definitely a joyous and celebrative moment to witness. The ladies of the family worked hard to make this a comfortable and memorable for Darla as they threw her a virtual bridal shower with her mom present for the party as well as being present for the wedding to give her away to her groom, her father was not present.
Covid-19 is still presently active but not even a pandemic can take away the blessings The Bordelon family continuously has and puts out into the world and their community. There was a special bonding moment between Ralph Angel and his older sister Charlie by having a private, old school race between the corn fields. This reminded them both of their childhood, and no matter what they’ll always love and have each other’s back.
A same day wedding has brought the family together with no strife or hesitation. From the color scheme Darla requested, to Aunt Vi putting together a wedding meal last minute, the farm was beautifully decorated to give Darla the wedding she deserved. Nova gifted Darla with an old letter from their mom which was written to Ralph Angel when he was first born. This letter was her “something old” written on hand stitched woven paper. The letter was a blessing from her when Ralph Angel finds and marries the love of his life.
Hollywood was still in mourning and wanted to give his mother a proper burial but as she wished, she was cremated and her ashes were spread across her favorite body of water. Ralph Angel and the family understood why he couldn’t be there for his big day but Hollywood made peace with his mothers passing as well as making time to attend the ceremony.
