Leveling Up Never Looked So Good on Beauty Influencer, Jackie Aina

I was never into makeup when I was younger. It was not until after college did I start getting intrigued. As a black woman I quickly discovered the issues we had to face when finding makeup that suited our complexions. I do not know how many times I bought a foundation that I should not have because it was too dark or too light. The associates in the stores are not always the best in color matching. I was also not around a plethora of women who were really into makeup. I took my search to YouTube, of course. When I first started my makeup journey, my favorite makeup guru was Jackie Aina. Still, to this day, it is Jackie Aina. I was with her, shooting in the gym!

Jackie, Jackie, Jackie, Jackie, Jackie, Jackie. If you know, you know.

I love seeing the glow up and sis getting all the coins she deserves. Cosmopolitan just featured the beauty influencer in a featured interview.

Even though she is the fabulous Beauty Influencer, we see today. Aina started from the bottom now; she is definitely here. 2009 is when she began producing content for YouTube while also battling with depression while living in Hawaii. Fast forward to 2021, Aina has 3.58 million YouTube subscribers. I always loved watching her videos. She, of course, would always look bomb AF with or without makeup. Aina always keeps it real and looks out for all the melanated girls out here. Which is why I resonated so much with her. Aina is a perfect example of how just being yourself will pay off. She has called out major beauty brands for the lack of range for their darker skin consumers.

Black women struggle with finding products that are suitable due to their skin complexion. Aina’s focus was providing more and more knowledge on finding products that actually work for them. She is my number one go-to when I need to switch up my products or tweak my full-face routine. She has also been securing the bag and has collaborated with major beauty brands, including Anastasia Beverly Hills, Pat McGrath, and Too Faced. I would like to add that I was immediately in Ulta, ensuring I scored the eyeshadow palette collab. She has also won multiple awards, such as NAACP’s YouTuber of the Year.

Aina is focusing on building her own empire and launched a lifestyle brand, Forvr Mood. Her brand is showing black women they can have all the luxury they want in life. I am here for it.,

I am so glad she is getting the recognition she deserves. She has been a force in the beauty industry for a while. I cannot wait to see what she has coming up for us next.
