BET+ is finally expanding on the hit show “Bigger” with a renewal on the way for the well-needed comedy series from executive super-producer Will Packer and his platform Will Packer Media. I must admit I’m excited for new episodes and concepts on a show I’ve already come attached to as well.
Created by Felisha Marye, the 10+ episode follows characters we either are in real life, and well, the ones we are. It showcases adventurous but single and businesswoman Layne (played by Tanisha Long) and her college friends, who also navigate between love, loss, and most importantly, career ups and downs. But of course, they get through it together; however, with unfortunates when college associate suddenly passes away, it gives all five characters a good and long look at themselves and even different perspectives of going Bigger and eventually more valid … right?
The show also showcases seasoned and exciting actress and actors such as Angell Conwell, Rasheda Crockett, Chase Anthony, and Tristen Winger. The show had debuted in September of 2019, a new season is coming in a couple of months, and I couldn’t be happier.
