Actress Ryan Destiny Officially Named the Face of a Black-Owned Beauty Brand

The multi-talented Ryan Destiny can add something new and exciting to her list; drum roll, please, let’s welcome the new brand ambassador for Black Opal Beauty!

The Black-owned beauty brand unveiled its news on January 26 through social media pages about working with Destiny on its latest campaign. Destiny, starting her career in singing and eventually ventured off to acting, appearing in web series to having a lead role in the hit show Star. Destiny will be Black Opal’s Beauty’s first-ever celebrity spokesperson and will start its 2021 lineup with its new collection. The new collection includes six new eye palettes; Invisible Oil Blocking Pressed Powder, Precision Eye Liner, and High Shine Lip Gloss, to name a few.

“I started using Black Opal when I was 16 – they were the only makeup brand out there had all the shades that I needed for my face,” said Destiny during an interview with Allure Magazine. Destiny continued by stating, “I love that it is Black-owned and female-owned brand . . . I’m just really honored.” Destiny was thrilled to share the news on her IG page, as she tells her followers to catch her and Black Opal at the nearest Ulta and more in 2021.
