Turnstr+ is ushering in its original programming slate with Forever, This Ring, a psychological thriller starring Taye Diggs, Loretta Devine and La’Myia Good.
Directed by filmmaker and former record executive Chris Stokes, the film centers on a wealthy couple whose seemingly perfect marriage takes a disturbing turn. What begins as a picture-perfect relationship quickly unravels into a nightmare, setting the stage for a suspenseful story about love, trust and what can happen when appearances are deceiving.
The cast also features Erica Mena, Marques Houston and Malik Whitfield, bringing together a recognizable ensemble for Turnstr+’s debut original film.
Forever, This Ring will have its Los Angeles premiere on September 29 at the TCL Chinese Theatre before making its official streaming debut on Turnstr+ October 2.
The film also represents the beginning of a larger partnership between Stokes and Turnstr+. Forever, This Ring is the first of 20 projects planned under Stokes’ exclusive 20-picture deal with the platform, making the thriller the first entry in what is expected to be an extensive original film slate.
With its high-profile cast, psychological thriller storyline and the launch of Turnstr+’s original programming, Forever, This Ring sets the tone for the platform’s next chapter in original entertainment.
