Bravo Star’s Debut Memoir Is an Unapologetic Tool of Awakening for Women

Luxury matchmaker and relationship expert Shae Primus invites women to heal and embrace pleasure – without the shame. “Touched: Stories of Pleasure, Power & Awakening” is a healing memoir that uses personal narrative and erotic truth to interrogate power, patriarchy, intimacy, and the reclamation of the divine feminine in Black womanhood.

Touched is set for release on June 30th.

Primus, founder of Upper Echelon Matchmaking, is nationally recognized for her approach, elite clientele, and transformative relationship work. She made headlines after being offered $1 million to match hip-hop mogul Rick Ross — a testament to her reputation as one of the most sought-after matchmakers in the industry.

With Touched, Primus turns inward: as a matchmaker who has spent years guiding high-achieving women through relationships, Primus began noticing a pattern — many of the women she worked with were over-functioning in relationships while under-nourishing themselves. In Touched, she confronts that realization honestly, including her own participation in the same pattern. What emerges is not a rejection of love, but a reclamation of self: a declaration that women no longer have to shrink, perform, or abandon themselves to be chosen.
