The Spark Behind the Brand
What inspired the creation of Maydn Beauty? What was the moment you knew it needed to exist?
Maydn Beauty was born during a deeply personal season of growth and self-rediscovery. During the pandemic, I reached a point where I no longer felt like myself. I had gained weight, my confidence was low, and I realized I wasn’t showing myself the care I deserved — even in the quiet moments at home.
Going to bed in oversized t-shirts became symbolic of how disconnected I felt from my femininity and self-love. I wanted to feel cozy, confident, and beautiful again — especially in my own space. That was the moment I knew Maydn Beauty needed to exist.
It became a reminder that self-care can begin with something as simple as how you rest. Maydn Beauty — and our #MaydnBabes community — was created to help women step into their soft life, create feel-good rituals, and set the tone for a dreamy tomorrow.
Filling a Missing Space in Beauty
What did you feel was missing in the beauty industry when you entered it?
I felt there was a missing focus on rest as a form of self-care. Beauty often highlights how women look when they are seen — but not how they feel in their quiet moments at home.
Sleepwear is one of the most intimate things we wear, yet it’s often overlooked. I wanted to turn bedtime into a meaningful ritual that supports confidence, comfort, and self-love.
I also saw a need for inclusive designs that feel both cozy and feminine — pieces that allow women of all sizes to feel beautiful while resting and becoming the best version of themselves.

The Meaning Behind the Name
The name Maydn feels intentional. What is the story behind it?
The name Maydn is deeply personal. It was inspired by my two greatest blessings — my daughter Mya and my son Jayden. Blending their names created Maydn, and from that moment, Maydn Beauty was born.
The name represents love, legacy, and the woman I strive to be for my children. Everything I create is rooted in intention and purpose. Maydn Beauty is more than a brand — it’s a reflection of motherhood, growth, and building something meaningful that encourages women to slow down, nurture themselves, and feel good in their own skin.
Building the Brand
What were the earliest challenges you faced?
Entrepreneurship humbled me quickly. After fifteen years working in corporate marketing, I thought I had it all figured out. I quickly learned that building your own brand teaches lessons no job ever could.
I built my website from the ground up — thank you, YouTube University — while also learning inventory management, pricing, logistics, and content creation. At the same time, I was figuring out how to show up authentically on social media and tell our story with intention.
Those challenges taught me patience, resilience, and trust in the process. Every obstacle shaped Maydn Beauty into a brand rooted in real experience and heart.
Defining Moments
What has been the most defining moment in your journey so far?
The most defining moments have come from our #MaydnBabes community.
I’ll never forget one woman who shared that she hadn’t worn anything “sexy” for her husband in years. She tried one of our lace teddies — he loved it — and she ended up buying every color. She told me it reignited a spark in their marriage.
Being part of brides’ journeys, designing personalized robes for milestones, meeting our community at pop-ups — those moments are everything.
I started with one cozy robe. Now, as we celebrate five years on April 21, 2026, seeing an idea rooted in softness grow into a movement of confidence and joy is surreal. Every DM, review, and story reminds me that feeling good is contagious.

How would you describe the Maydn Beauty woman?
She is confident, soft, and unapologetically herself. She values self-care and understands that taking care of herself is essential — not selfish.
She finds joy in cozy evenings, celebrates her curves, and isn’t afraid to add a little flirtation to her life. Most importantly, she knows beauty isn’t just about how she looks — it’s about how she feels in her own home and in her own skin.
What separates a good beauty brand from a legacy brand?
A good brand creates products people enjoy. A legacy brand creates experiences that stay with them.
Legacy is built on trust, connection, and belonging. It’s rooted in values that go beyond trends.
For Maydn Beauty, it’s about how we make women feel — soft, confident, cozy, cared for. That’s what transforms a bedtime routine into a celebration of self.

Five years from now, what do you want Maydn Beauty to be known for?
I want Maydn Beauty to be known as more than sleepwear. I want it to be a feel-good experience — a reminder for women to embrace their soft life and pour into themselves again.
