Influenced by legends like Musiq Soulchild, Joe Thomas, and Dave Hollister, Denaron has crafted a sound that pays homage to the greats while standing out with his own signature style. He has shared stages with powerhouse acts such as Jagged Edge, Ginuwine, and Dru Hill, learning lessons from some of the genre’s most iconic performers. He has also collaborated with artists including Brian Angel of Day 26, Beatking, Young Dro, and J Dawg, further expanding his versatility as a vocalist and songwriter.

When asked what message he wanted listeners to take from The Gentleman, Denaron explained, “I wanted people to listen and know there are a few songs they can relate to, and also make people feel good about themselves.”

Reflecting on his experiences with major acts, he credits Ginuwine for shaping much of his approach as an artist.

“Ginuwine definitely embraced me as an artist. I took a lot of notes from him, on and off stage, from performance to how to carry myself as an artist.”

For Denaron, creating music begins with the production.

“I love to listen to the production nowadays first. If it’s catchy enough, it’ll definitely set the mood. Then here comes the concept, then comes the melodies in my head, then lyrics.”

His creative process allows him to deliver music that feels both fresh and familiar.

Balancing his influences with originality has always been key.

“I’ve always tried to insinuate their music into my original music, because every song these days can transition into another song. Plus it helps people stick with the song because it’s familiar to their ear.”

As he looks ahead, Denaron remains open to collaborations but has a dream of working with Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox, alongside a feature from Joe Thomas. Fans can also look forward to more than just music.

“I definitely have a new album on the way. Expect more from me in movies as well and event shows. I think I kinda remind people of Avant, and it’s not too many of the Avant kind walking around singing these days.”

Denaron’s smooth delivery, relatable lyrics, and dedication to preserving the heart of R&B make him an artist to watch closely. With new projects on the horizon, he continues to solidify his place as a voice keeping soulful music alive for today’s generation.
