The idea wasn’t to throw a party. It was to create a moment—one rooted in presence, creativity, and soul. A space where elegance meets ease, where what’s felt matters as much as what’s served. A celebration of love, life, and legacy.
That moment became Love Life Nights, a new supper and music series launching August 31 in Columbus, Ohio—with plans to travel nationwide. A blend of curated cuisine, live music, and intentional gathering, the experience invites guests to reconnect with what truly nourishes.
The brainchild of journalist and experiential producer Paula Goins, Love Life Nights first began in Los Angeles as a soulful gathering of creatives, professionals, and seekers of substance. What started as an intimate live music experience with friends soon evolved into sold-out events and a loyal community hungry for something deeper than nightlife.

“I wanted a place where you could find good food, good music, and good people—all in one space,” says Goins. “And when I couldn’t find it, I created it.”
Now, with its Midwest debut, Goins is introducing Columbus to the essence of Love Life Nights: intimate, invitation-only experiences designed to stir the senses and feed the spirit. And it starts with the details.
Each evening hosts just 80 invited guests, welcomed into a secret location revealed the morning of. The goal? To keep the energy present, the connections real, and the setting beautifully unfiltered. Think more dinner party than nightclub—where every chair is VIP, and every plate tells a story.
The Menu: Memory Meets Mastery

For the August 31 launch, Columbus native Chef Emmanuel “Manny” Tyson curates a globally influenced seven-course tasting menu rooted in memory and meaning. A private chef with a powerful personal story—Tyson is a former foster youth who found purpose in the kitchen—his dishes reflect resilience, heritage, and flavor that speaks before a word is said.
Tasting Menu Highlights:
• Mini Arepas with ancho-lime crema & herb-roasted chicken
• Ceviche de Mango y Camarón
• Chayote & Watercress Salad with pomegranate vinaigrette
• Red Snapper in Creole Broth over garlic basmati rice
• Warm Beignets with mezcal caramel

The Music: Sound That Stirs the Soul
Live music is more than a backdrop—it’s the heartbeat of the evening. With direction by Hawc Griffin and the FEWXION band, the music is designed to breathe with the room, offering a full-body experience that’s both grounding and elevating.
To mark the debut, internationally acclaimed jazz bassist Keith Eaddy will perform—bringing rhythm, resonance, and a depth of soul that turns melodies into memories.
The Mission: A Cultural Reset
In an age of noise, Love Life Nights is a quiet rebellion. Against clout-chasing. Against scrolling over speaking. Against the kind of disconnected connection that leaves you emptier than you came.
Here, the energy is curated. The conversations are real. And the intention is bold: to remind us that presence is a gift. That joy is meant to be savored. That gathering can be an act of resistance—and of healing.
“Love Life Nights isn’t about clout or crowds,” says Goins. “It’s about sitting next to someone you didn’t know at the beginning of the night—and remembering their name by the end.”
You never know who might walk through the door—or where the experience will land next. But the promise remains the same: beauty, soul, and substance in equal measure.
