A visionary designer, body positivity advocate, and the first Black lesbian plus-size denim designer, Jentè is on a mission: to turn heads, break barriers, and empower women to walk with confidence. What began as a response to the body shaming she witnessed during her short stint as a model has become a full-fledged fashion movement. Now based in Waterloo, Iowa, the Dallas native has spent the last eight years building a brand that not only redefines denim but challenges the entire fashion industry’s standards.

Taking place Friday, June 21, 2025, at Unique Visions Upscale Events in Dallas, this immersive fashion experience promises a runway like no other. Inspired by fantasy and fearless creativity, the show will feature never-before-seen designs and a cast of powerful plus-size models who embody Jente’s signature mix of couture and confidence.

Hosted by fashion media personality and body positivity advocate Bree Moore, the Denim in Wonderland Fashion Gala is more than a night of high fashion. It’s a celebration of healing, self-expression, and radical self-acceptance—a reflection of everything Jente Carter stands for.
