Event to honor standout fathers including AJ Calloway, Lil Scrappy, Ryan Wilson, Damien Wilkins and more, with awards, music, cocktails, and community connection during Father’s Day weekend in Atlanta.
Atlanta, GA – On Saturday, June 14th, Dear Fathers, the leading media platform dedicated to telling stories of Black Fatherhood, will host its annual FTHRS DAY ATL Celebration at Buckhead Art & Company. The event will shine a spotlight on fathers making a meaningful difference in their communities, with this year’s honorees including AJ Calloway, Lil Scrappy, Ryan Wilson, Damien Wilkins, and many more.
Held over Father’s Day weekend, FTHRS DAY ATL is a signature event that brings together fathers, families, and the greater Atlanta community to celebrate the vital role of Black fathers in shaping culture and inspiring future generations. Presented in partnership with Crown Royal and The Athlete’s Foot, the evening will feature an awards ceremony, music, signature cocktails, light bites, and opportunities for networking and fellowship.
The event will run from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with the awards presentation taking place from 5:00 to 6:30 PM at Buckhead Art & Co, located at 288 Buckhead Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30305.

“Dear Fathers was created to give Black dads the platform they deserve and to celebrate their stories all year long,” said Jesse Alex, Co-Founder of Dear Fathers. “With FTHRS DAY ATL, we are building on that mission by honoring incredible fathers here in Atlanta who are creating positive change and setting an example for the next generation.”
Confirmed honorees include entertainment host AJ Calloway, TV personality and rapper Lil Scrappy, Ryan Wilson of The Gathering Spot, former NBA player and Head of Basketball at Overtime Elite Damien Wilkins, Pastor William H. Murphy III of the dReam Center Church, Mike Whittley, CEO of Whittley Agency, Clark Atlanta University’s Head Football Coach Teddy Keaton, Gil Jonesof Radio One, TV personality Ralph Pittman, Darius Billings of The Athlete’s Foot, social media influencers D’Anthony Ward, Trevor St. Agathe, Bennie Martin, fatherhood advocate Myer Krah II, and Keith Lewis, founder of I’m A Father F1rst, with more honorees to be announced in the coming days.
Guests attending FTHRS DAY ATL can expect an inspiring atmosphere filled with music, cocktails courtesy of Crown Royal, light bites, art, resources, and heartfelt conversations about the importance of Black Fatherhood.
